THE GLOBAL RETAIL THEFT BAROMETER 2008

The Global Retail Theft Barometer 2008 (GRTB)
was published on 12 November 2008.
It is the largest survey in the world into retail shrinkage and
crime and covers 36 countries including the UK, the US, Germany,
France, Italy, India, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Australia,
South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. The full list of countries
included can be seen below.
This is the second Global survey and the eighth International
study. This series started in 2001. The GRTB, which is sponsored
by Checkpoint Systems, Inc., is used by retail corporations across
the world to evaluate trends and to benchmark themselves against
other companies.
